Terms of Service

1. Agreement

By accessing Vigil you agree to these Terms. Vigil is operated by Hexasentra ("we").

2. License

We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service per your plan. The software is licensed, not sold. Self-host licenses are perpetual for the version delivered, subject to plan terms.

3. Acceptable use

• Monitor only assets you own or have written authorization to monitor.
• Do not use findings to access systems without authorization.
• Handle discovered credentials responsibly: rotate them, do not exploit them.
• No resale, redistribution, or benchmarking publication of the Service internals.

4. Customer data & responsibility

You are responsible for the scope you configure and for acting on findings within your own authorization boundaries. We are not a monitoring service of record for compliance mandates unless separately agreed in writing.

5. Fees & trials

Trial accounts receive full Business-plan functionality for 14 days. Paid plans renew monthly until cancelled. See Refund Policy for lifetime terms.

6. Availability & support

We target 99.5% monthly availability for hosted plans. Enterprise SLAs are contractual.

7. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, aggregate liability is limited to fees paid in the 12 months preceding a claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages.

8. Termination

Either party may terminate for material breach. On termination, your data is handled per the Privacy Policy retention schedule.
